There are superstitions in burlesque. You aren’t supposed to put your shoes on the table. I try to pay attention to that, but I really like looking at my shoes, so I put them on the table all the time.

For those of you who could use a good dose of anything spring, check out the short video Saks sent around to their email list earlier this week.

I hesitated to post this, mainly because a) the world doesn’t really need more videos of celebrities who are not at work talking to the camera (Christian Slater says: “Ladies: Jimmy Choo. Saks.com. Do it!”); and b) even the interview with Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon was not particularly illuminating.

Nonetheless, the shoes are fantastic! Among them is, of course, a gorgeous version of this spring’s must-have shoe, the brightly-colored patent. And, puffy lips aside, Lisa Rinna looks great in a pair of platforms that are, to use her words, “so sick”.

So, take a look at the video (perhaps with the sound off) – it’s only a couple minutes long and is definitely good for an ogle or two.

Shopping tip: You can get shoes for 85 cents at the bowling alley.
