[…] Victoria Beckham made a splash in the fashion world when she wore heel-less hoofers last year. Well it seems that she is a fashion oracle, because Nina Ricci recently featured these heel-less, extreme platform shoes in her Fall 2009 runway show. The sky-high height combines platform and stilettos, adding nearly eleven inches to the already leggy models. I find these shoes to be outlandish and awkward-looking ,but the effect these shoes had on the overall appearance of the outfits in the collection is impressive. The models seemed to float down the runway with even lengthier, more wisp-like silhouettes.
