Debutante's Shoebox

Before we had Blahniks, we had Maglis.  Bruno Maglis.  The 1980s were the beginning of label loving and luxury footwear, and Bruno Magli was the IT brand of the decade.

I suppose Bruno Magli, and all its stakeholders, cringed when a certain football player’s footwear was potential evidence in a murder trial.  But this less than desirable press cannot erase the fact that Bruno Magli is a top notch shoe brand.

These rhinestone covered heels are a gorgeous example of how vintage shoes, especially designer, continue to influence current designers.  Did we not see rhinestones on Dior’s shoes for Spring?  At $62, these sparkly beauties can’t be beat.
