Vintage Inspired Booties
Every winter, my wardrobe faces a huge dilemma. Trying to find cute boots that fit my vintage loving style is a difficult task. Most boots are too urban or too modern and don’t seem to really go with any of my vintage coats and sweaters.
And when I am wearing something modern, I’d love to incorporate some vintage on my feet. Vintage boots for women, other than cowboy boots, don’t really exist. If you are lucky enough to find a pair of Victorian boots, they simply won’t be wearable. Pretty, but not reasonable for a modern girl on the go.
And then I found these…
The Coclico Ophelia bootie is the perfect boot with it’s soft leather and button down spat.
Coclico Bootie, $378
These two tone beauties incorporate spats and buttons (noticing a trend?) in supple green and brown leather
L.A.M.B. Rosebury Boot, $524
What do you get when you cross a go-go boot with cute bows? Booties that only Marc Jacobs could have dreamed up.
Marc by Marc Jacobs, $360
