Vintage Shoe Find - Riding Boots ala Molly Ringwald
Even in my 30s, I still hold a place in my heart for ’80s teen angst films. In fact, my first dose of vintage fashion was given to me by the fashion icon of the decade, Molly Ringwald. Whether she was playing a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, or a privileged snob in designer clothing, she always had great style.

Recently, she was interviewed by Monica Corcoran of the LA Times. While Molly does not wear as much vintage anymore, she regrets not keeping some of the Breakfast Club wardrobe. “Now, I wish that I kept those boots,” she says. “I loved those boots.”
And so did I. So I was thrilled when I came across these beauties. While they aren’t vintage Ralph Lauren, they certainly are the real deal - English, handmade, and meant for riding. Plus, boots are so much better when they are lovingly worn in.
