Fantastic Toe Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy policies for the Fantastic Toe Website. The purpose of this statement is to notify you of what personally identifiable information of yours will be collected by Fantastic Toe, how it will be used, and what options are available to you regarding the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. When you join Fantastic Toe, you are required to submit a valid email address. We will never give, rent or sell your email address to any third party. We may send email on behalf of a third party to subscribing members; this email will always be sent under our logo and in accordance with our members’ subscription instructions.

Age/Residency Requirement

Effective April 21, 2000, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) mandated that all websites must be in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). While the Fantastic Toe site is not directed at children under the age thirteen (13), you must be at least 13 years old, be a United States or Canadian resident, and have a valid e-mail address to use the Fantastic Toe services (”Services”). Enrollment and use of the Services is open to individuals only (no corporations or other legal entities). Each individual who uses the Service is responsible for providing this information requested herein and for updating any such information to insure its accuracy. Receipt of inaccurate or misleading information will adversely affect the ability of Fantastic Toe to provide the Service. In this regard, Fantastic Toe reserves the right to terminate a Member’s use of the Services if misleading or intentionally incorrect personal information is provided. Fantastic Toe reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Services with or without notice to members. Fantastic Toe will not be liable to any member or any third party should Fantastic Toe exercise its right to modify or discontinue the Program.

Opt In and Opt Out

You control whether or not you receive email from Fantastic Toe, using any of the following options:

When you join Fantastic Toe, if you “opt in” by checking one or more of the “Email me…” boxes, we will send you the corresponding emails; “opt out” by unchecking one or more, and we won’t.

If you wish to unsubscribe, you can also click the unsubscribe link in any email message you receive from us
Note that, if you chose to subscribe to email feeds from the Fantastic Toe site blog, which is delivered via Feedburner, you can unsubscribe from those emails using the unsubscribe link in those email messages. Because this is a service delivered by a third party, you are not able to manage this email subscription from your “My Profile” page.

Information Collection and Use

In addition, on your “My Profile” page, we request that you supply demographic information, such as gender, DOB, and shoe size. You are not required to provide this information to be a member of Fantastic Toe. Fantastic Toe uses this information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients. We will never publish, or otherwise make public or identifiable, any individual member’s information. Furthermore, we may need to disclose personally identifiable information when required by law.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We, or third-party ad serving entities, may set a cookie on your computer or use web beacons to collect information in certain instances, including: 1) When you log in to Fantastic Toe, and check the box that says “Remember Me”, we set a cookie so the site recognizes you when you come back; 2) When you respond to a Fantastic Toe advertisement placed by us on another site, we may set a cookie on your computer that allows us to track response to the advertising campaign; and 3) When you view or respond to an ad placed on Fantastic Toe, and served by a third-party ad serving entity, those ad serving entities may set a cookie on your computer. You may opt-out of the cookies delivered by Fantastic Toe by changing the setting on your browser. Please be aware that this will disable all cookies delivered to your browser, not just the ones delivered by Fantastic Toe.

Orders Placed Via Amazon.com Web Services

If you order a product through the Fantastic Toe boutique, which is powered by Amazon Web Services, you will need to use your existing Amazon.com account or create a new Amazon.com account. Your account information will be collected and used by Amazon.com and subject to the Amazon.com Privacy Notice, not this Privacy Policy.

In addition, Amazon.com will provide Fantastic Toe with your account information; the only piece of that information that we will use or store is your email address. If you have not already joined Fantastic Toe, we may send you an email message asking you to join. As above, if you do not wish to receive further emails from us, follow the instructions for unsubscribing included in the email.
