Several days ago in the Morning Shoe Report, FantasticToe memtioned the shoe designer, Walter Steiger. Does he still design shoes? I cannot locate any stores that carry Walter Steiger shoes. Can anyone in the FantasticToe realm supply an information on Mr. Steiger? An aside: During the late ’80s or early ’90s, a friend of mine purchased six pairs of Walter Steigers at a store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. The cost at that time was around $250, which was an enormous price for a pair of shoes.
