I don’t live in NYC, but I may start sending my shoes there. To Arty. Do you know him? He sounds like The Shoe Whisperer. Listen to these heartwarming stories of compassion and you can feel the love between Arty and his loyal customers:

This guy sounds unbelievable! I am going to send him a favorite pair of Casadei sandals that I’ve worn to death and see if he can resurrect them.
